本研究科では、理化学研究所計算科学研究センターと連携して、各専門分野でHPC-AIを利活用する最先端の研究動向を紹介する英語講義「Emerging Frontiers of AI/HPC for Science」を後期に開講します。

- 以下のいずれかに該当する学生は、Zoom webinarでの受講を認めます。
- 神戸情報科学キャンパス・神戸商科キャンパス以外のキャンパスに在籍する者
- 科目等履修生で、遠隔地に居住する者
- 聴講生、研究生

In collaboration with the RIKEN Center for Computational Science (R-CCS), our Graduate School will offer an English-conducted course titled "Emerging Frontiers of AI/HPC for Science" during the Fall (Second) Semester. This course will introduce cutting-edge research trends in the utilization of HPC-AI across various specialized fields.
- Course Title: "Emerging Frontiers of AI/HPC for Science"
- Language: English (with automated translated subtitles available)
- Target Audience:
- Internal: Graduate students, non-degree students (credited), auditors, and research students of this university
- External: Non-degree students (credited) and auditors from outside the university (including working professionals)
- Schedule: On designated Wednesdays from October to January (Please see the table for the schedule and topics)
- Location: Large Lecture Room, 7th Floor, Kobe Port Island Campus (The lecture will also be broadcast to the Kobe Gakuen-toshi [Shoka] Campus for students of this Graduate School)
- Application Method and Deadline:
- Graduate students of the Graduate School of Information Science: Please register through the standard Fall Semester course registration process.
- Graduate students of other departments within the university: Please register according to the Fall Semester course registration procedure of your respective department. Please check Universal Passport carefully for details.
- External auditors / Non-degree students: To take this course, you must apply as an auditor or a non-degree student. An admission fee of 28,200 yen and a tuition fee of 29,600 yen (totaling 57,800 yen) will apply. Please review the regulations and application forms. Please submit the required documents to the Administration Department at the Kobe Port Island Campus (address below) by Monday, August 31, 2026.

- In-Person vs. Online Streaming:
- We highly recommend attending the lectures in person at the Large Lecture Room (7th Floor, Kobe Port Island Campus). This offers a valuable opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussions directly with the lecturers. For students of the Graduate School of Information Science based on the Kobe Gakuen-toshi (Shoka) Campus, an internal live stream will be provided.
- Students who fall under any of the following categories are permitted to attend via Zoom Webinar:
- Students affiliated with campuses other than the Kobe Port Island Campus or Kobe Gakuen-toshi (Shoka) Campus.
- Non-degree students residing in remote areas.
- Auditors and research students.
- If you wish to attend via Zoom, please apply using the Google Form. Please note that applying for Zoom attendance is a separate procedure from course registration or applying as an auditor/non-degree student. You cannot take this course solely by submitting the Google Form. Please also keep the following precautions in mind:
- Email Address: Regular students of University of Hyogo must register using their university Gmail (GUH) address.
