Three Policies<\/h2>\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Diploma Policy<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Master\u2019s Program<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>\u30fbThe candidate has acquired specialized knowledge and skills in data science and computational science, and is able to apply these in order to solve specific problems.<\/li>\r\n<li>\u30fbThe candidate has acquired advanced knowledge and skills in one or more of the four fields of data science, computational science, healthcare science, and information security science, and is acquainted with their representative problem-solving methods.<\/li>\r\n<li>\u30fbThe candidate has performed research related to data utilization, and possesses the ability to explain its academic value and social value from a variety of viewpoints such as novelty, effectiveness, and developability.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Doctoral Program<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>\u30fbThe candidate has the ability to set issues and propose and implement new solutions to the problems facing an advanced information society.<\/li>\r\n<li>\u30fbThe candidate is recognized as being able to perform research that includes a high level of scholarly content, widely publish the results of said research, and contribute to the future development of the information science field.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Curriculum Policy<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Master\u2019s Program<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>\u30fbEstablish \u201ccourse basic classes\u201d that allow candidates to acquire specialized knowledge and skills relating to data science and computational science, and, in combination with basic knowledge of information science, establish classes that allow candidates to study each course (data science, computational science, healthcare science, information security science) with a bird\u2019s-eye view.<\/li>\r\n<li>\u30fbEstablish \u201ccourse applied classes\u201d in data science, computational science, healthcare science, and information security science, to allow candidates to acquire advanced, cutting-edge knowledge and skills for each course.<\/li>\r\n<li>\u30fbEstablish \u201cresearch guidance classes\u201d in order to allow candidates to acquire practical knowledge and skills through specific research tasks.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Doctoral Program<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>\u30fbEstablish classes that grant an understanding of the frontiers of information science and its related fields and that allow candidates to study cutting-edge research in the fields of data science, computational science, healthcare science, and information security science in order for them to deepen their own research.<\/li>\r\n<li>\u30fbEstablish research guidance classes in order to cultivate research performance proficiency and literature survey proficiency, so that candidates can produce their doctoral theses.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Admissions Policy<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Master\u2019s Program<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>\u30fbCandidates should possess the required basic knowledge in order to study information science.<\/li>\r\n<li>\u30fbCandidates should possess a desire to utilize the specialized knowledge and skills they acquired during their undergraduate studies, or the knowledge and skills they have acquired during their professional careers, in order to study data science and computational science.<\/li>\r\n<li>\u30fbCandidates should possess the communication skills necessary to understand class contents and perform research activities.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Doctoral Program <\/strong><\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>\u30fbCandidates should possess the necessary competencies in order to perform advanced research in the information science field.<\/li>\r\n<li>\u30fbCandidates should possess a strong self-awareness and motivation, in addition to a clear goal
